Today has been dedicated to one of our favourite medicinal herbs – Calendula (Calendula officinalis)
We’re delighted to say that this year’s harvest has been an excellent one. Vibrant golden-orange blooms have filled our fields, each flower carefully harvested at the optimal stage to preserve its valuable natural constituents. It’s always rewarding to see the abundance that comes from healthy soil, biodiversity, and farming practices that respect the rhythms of the natural world.
As a biodynamic farm, sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. We believe that producing exceptional herbal medicines begins long before the manufacturing process. Healthy soils, thriving ecosystems, and responsible farming practices help us grow herbs of outstanding quality while caring for the land for future generations.
One of the unique aspects of our farm is that the journey from plant to finished product happens entirely on-site. Once harvested, our fresh calendula is taken directly to our cGMP and MHRA-approved manufacturing facility, where it is processed under rigorous quality standards. This allows us to maintain complete traceability and ensure every step of production meets the highest standards of safety, consistency, and efficacy.
The freshly harvested flowers will soon be transformed into three of our most popular herbal preparations: Calendula Fluid Extract, Calendula Tincture and Calendula Cream.
From seed to harvest, from extraction to finished product, every stage takes place with care, expertise, and respect for both nature and science.
