For over 20 years, Rutland Biodynamics has been the UK representative to EUROPAM (European Organisation des Plantes Aromatiques et Médicinales), an international conference of specialists drawn from universities, business and agriculture, in herb growing, processing and marketing, meeting from the Baltic to the Aegean.

This year, the UK was represented in Latvia by RBD’s new director, Max Chenery, (son of founder Paul Chenery), who has recently assumed responsibility for financial management and logistical planning at RBD.

Max has a background in personnel management, accountancy (ACA) and for the past decade has been running a large mixed farming enterprise in north-west Leicestershire and has become a leader in the UK’s important new regenerative farming movement. Max tends to spend a day a week in person at RBD and is in daily contact with the on farm team and is constantly networking with growers, processors and customers alike across the world
