We harvest when the plant itself tells us it is ready—when it has reached its optimum stage of growth and its natural vitality is at its highest. Every harvest is carried out by hand with great care and respect for both the plant and the rhythms of nature.
From Living Plant to Medicine—On the Same Day
What makes our tinctures truly distinctive is what happens after harvest. Unlike many herbal products that are made from dried herbs, or fresh herbs transported over long distances before processing, our freshly harvested plants travel only a short distance from the field to our cGMP and MHRA-approved laboratory.
There, on the very day they are harvested, they are carefully macerated to begin the tincture-making process. This rapid transition from field to laboratory means the living character of the fresh plant is preserved. There is no lengthy storage, no unnecessary transport, and no delay between harvest and extraction.
We believe this allows us to capture the full vitality of the herb at its freshest, preserving the qualities that nature intended and ensuring as little as possible is lost between field and bottle.
