Rutland Biodynamics has its own biodynamic farm, where we grow approximately 80 different medicinal herbs. Rather than simply purchasing herbs from external suppliers, we have direct involvement in the cultivation of many of the plants used in our fresh organic tinctures.  This gives us the ability to follow the journey of the herb from the moment it is grown.

• When it was macerated into a tincture
• How the finished medicine was manufactured, tested and released

Fresh Herbs, Harvested at Peak Quality

For our Fresh Organic Range, herbs are harvested directly from our biodynamic farm and macerated into tinctures on the same day.  This direct connection between the farm and manufacturing process reduces unnecessary handling and gives us exceptional control over the journey from fresh plant material to finished herbal medicine.  Because the farm and manufacturing facilities are closely connected, we can record and trace the key stages of the process, providing practitioners with greater confidence in the origin of the medicines they prescribe.
